International students are advised to apply for the MEXT Asia Pacific University Scholarship in Japan for the 2023-24 sessions. Students across the country can apply for full-funded scholarships to pursue bachelor’s degree programs, master’s degree programs, and PhD degrees. Students will not charge an application fee. All major subjects and specializations such as social sciences, law, arts, engineering, computer, business, and Islamic education as well as management and development subjects are available. MEXT Asia Pacific University Scholarship in Japan 2023/24 is a Fully Funded Scholarship for International Students to Study in Undergraduate and Postgraduate Degree Programs. The expenses coverage details are given below:
- 100% Tuition (covered by APU Tuition Reduction Scholarship)
- 144,000 JPY per month for living expenses (subject to change of amount)
- The first and last part of the economy class curriculum is air travel between the home country and the APU.

Eligibility Requirements:
Applicants have to meet the following criteria to apply for the MEXT Asia Pacific University Scholarship in Japan:
- All international students and residents of Japan can apply for scholarships.
- Good academic record.
- They plan to study abroad in Japan.
- Not a nation with Japanese nationality and diplomatic relations with Japan.
- Students born on or after April 2, 1988
- The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) has an English test score of B2 or above (such as IELTS 5.5 and above, iBT TOEFL 72).
- Completed an academic program in English as the primary language that meets the admission requirements of Asia Pacific University Japan.
