Eligibility for Scholarship:
- Non-Chinese residents and healthy individuals.Â
- When applying for master’s degrees, be a bachelor’s degree holder under the age of 35.Â
- When applying for graduate degrees, be a master’s degree holder under the age of 40 years.
- For English- taught programs, IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL 80 or similar or Native English speakers. Applicants who have not been able to apply the English test results referred to above will be expected to attend the English test arranged by CQUPT in May.Â
- Â For Chinese -taught programs HSK 4 or higher is required. Â Applicants who have HSK 5 or higher can apply directly for the major examination, those who have HSK 4 can apply for one year of Chinese language training courses, and then go on to their degree programs after fulfilling the requirement; applicants who can give evidence of learning at a previous institution where the language of instruction is Chinese can qualify for waiver of the HSK exam.
