In order to apply for a Griffith University Scholarship in Australia, a candidate must meet the following criteria:
- Not an Australian permanent resident or bearer of an Australian Permanent Humanitarian Visa, an Australian national student, a New Zealand national student, or a citizen of any of these countries; and
- beginning or enrolling in a Griffith University HDR programme (for which financing is available through GUIPRS).
- A GUIPRS would not be awarded to an applicant who is seeking a Commonwealth Government comparable grant or scholarship to cover tuition costs for the HDR scheme.
