Eligibility Requirements For MEXT Asia Pacific University Scholarships:
Applicants have to meet the following criteria to apply for the 2027-28 MEXT Asia Pacific University Scholarship in Japan:
- All international students and residents of Japan can apply for scholarships.
- Good academic record.
- They plan to study abroad in Japan.
- Not a nation with Japanese nationality and diplomatic relations with Japan.
- Students born on or after April 2, 1991
- The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) has an English test score of B2 or above (such as IELTS 5.5 and above, iBT TOEFL 72).
- A minimum GPA of 2.30 on a 3.00 scale in the last degree is required.
- Completed an academic program in English as the primary language that meets the admission requirements of Asia Pacific University Japan.
