This research program provide real research project to undergraduate students (bachelor’s). They not only read from books but also have a chance to do practical things like collect data and use research tools and software. Students learn how to work with others from different study areas to solve real-world problems. This program helps students to choose their future career path, especially when they want to become researchers or continue higher studies (master’s, PhD). Both Ozyegin students and undergraduate students from different universities in Turkey will have the opportunity to be involved in the program.
The summer research program at Ozyegin University will give the opportunity for undergraduate students to be involved in the research projects carried out by the faculty members of the university. The students will be involved in the existing scientific projects as voluntary summer interns. The students will be selected by the faculty members based on the evaluation process. The students will be given facility, technical, and academic support, accommodation, and lunch during the summer. If the project continues after the summer, the support will be provided except for accommodation.
