These charges will be paid by the students out of pocket. The AU Emerging Global Leader Scholarship is renewable for a total of four years for undergraduate degrees if the academic performance of the awardees is satisfactory.

Eligibility Requirements For American University Scholarships:
To be successful for the American University Scholarships in the USA, interested aspirants must fulfil the below-mentioned terms and conditions:
- International students from all over the world except for USA citizens are eligible to apply.
- Applicants showing a keen interest in leadership, volunteerism, community service, and advancing the needs of people in their home country will be given preference.
- A minimum 3.8 GPA out of 4.0 GPA will be preferred.
- Applicants must be proficient in the English language:
- 95+ TOEFL iBT
- Sub-scores of 24+ on the paper-based TOEFL (Taken after May 31, 2017)
- 7.0+ IELTS (all subscores must be 6.0 or above)
- 33 minimum SAT Reading subscore
- A score of 630 or higher on the SAT Digital version section entitled “Evidence-Based Reading and Writing” (EBRW)
- 29 minimum ACT English
- 65 minimum PTE
- 125+ Duolingo (all subscores must be 115 or above)
- Cambridge Assessment English score of 185 or higher. Each sub-score must be 169 or higher.
- Students who are enrolled in secondary/high school and graduating by June 2025.
