Scholarship Coverage:

Global Korea Scholarships Eligibility Requirements:

The eligibility criteria for Global Korea Scholarships for international students are described below:

Nationality

• All candidates and their parents must not have Korean nationality. 
• Korean nationals and holders of dual citizenship (one who has Korean citizenship and another nation’s citizenship) are NOT eligible to apply. 

Criteria For Age: 

• For Graduate Degrees, you must be under 40 years of age by 1 September 2024, (born after September 1, 1984) 
• Qualified for application are those academic professors who are under 45 years of age as of 1 September 2024 (born after 1 September 1979) and hold the citizenship of one of the beneficiaries of the Official Development Assistance (ODA).
• For Undergraduate Degrees, you must be under 25 years of age by 1 September 2024, (born after September 1, 1999)

Requirements For Degree: 

• In order to be accepted in a Master’s Program, students must hold or be expected to hold a Bachelor’s Degree OR hold a Master’s Degree to be enrolled in a PhD Program for Degrees. 

Candidates For the Research Program: 

• You must have a degree or level of education equal to or greater than a Master’s degree. You must have received an invitation from one of the NIIED’s Korea’s designated universities.

• You must have a doctoral degree or an equal level of qualification to a doctoral degree.
