They are popularly known as the KNB Scholarship. KNB Indonesian Government Scholarship is a valuable scholarship scheme. All applicants from Europe, Africa, Latin America, Oceania and Asia can apply for this scholarship program. More than 357 research projects are available under the KNB Scholarship at one of Indonesia’s 23 major universities.
This year 1,290 recipients from 94 countries will be selected. Provided by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia, never miss this scholarship to study for free. Indonesian Government Scholarships Eligibility:
The eligibility for the KNB Scholarship is the same for all Candidates:
- The maximum age to apply for the scholarship is 35 years.
- Applicant must have a bachelor’s degree approved by the relevant Ministry of Education and Culture (Master’s holder)
- Applicants must have a minimum TOEFL IBT score of 80 or an IELTS score of 6.0 (or other English proficiency tests of equivalent value).
- Applicant must have a minimum GPA of 3.25
- Applicants must complete the online application form and fill it in When leaving for Indonesia, successful candidates must sign the statement letter and the scholarship agreement drawn up by the KNB scholarship management.
Required Documents For Indonesian Government Scholarships:
- Recommendation letter from the Indonesian Embassy within the respective country, issued within the same year because of the application.
- Nomination letter from the respective government official (Ministry of Education, other related agency – should the applicant work for the govt Agency or Embassy of the Applicant’s Country of Origin in Indonesia)
- Two academic recommendation letters.
- Scanned valid passport (personal data page only)
- Scanned bachelor certificate and academic transcripts (in English)
- Scanned TOEFL score certificate (or the other English Proficiency Tests) obtained within the last 2 Years
- Scanned Official Medical Statement (Official diagnosis) prepared by a licensed physician, issued within the same year of application.

Apply Procedure For Indonesian Government Scholarships:
The application process is completely online. Once you have applied, you cannot cancel the application. To apply, visit the official website of the Government of Indonesia 2024.

- Submit the invitation letter, passport, academic certificates, and academic transcripts to the Indonesian Embassy to accumulate the recommendation letter
