Award Benefits:
University of Waikato Doctoral Scholarship 2023-24 in New Zealand will cover most of the expenses related to their studies. Foreigner students can get many benefits from this scholarship which are given as follows:
- The value of the standard Scholarship shall generally be:
- A living allowance of $27,500 in total every 12 months, payable in monthly instalments for up to 36 months (three years) in total.
- The domestic tuition fees for enrolment in the doctoral qualification during the tenure of the Scholarship; and
- The Student Services Levy.
- Where an applicant has requested, or the Scholarships Executive has deemed it appropriate, a fee-only Scholarship may be offered. The value of a fees-only Scholarship shall normally be:
- The domestic tuition fees for enrolment in the doctoral qualification during the tenure of the Scholarship; and
- The Student Services Levy.
- For both the standard and fee-only Scholarships, any additional costs such as medical insurance, moving costs, and research expenses must be met by the student.
