He returned to Iran shortly before the Islamic Revolution after receiving a Master of Arts in Law & Diplomacy from the Fletcher School at Tufts University. The passing of his father and the establishment of the Islamic Republic in Iran were only two of the numerous circumstances that altered Mr Bader’s career path. His time was then spent managing a private, inherited business.

The award is worth $40,000 for a full-time 12-month academic year of study. The scholarship is re-eligible every year pending an evaluation of progress. The scholarship may be used for up to 24 months of full-time education. Fees must be paid out of the award because they are not waived.
